World Migratory Bird Day (11 May 2019)

We invite you to participate in World Migratory Bird Day.

Many countries from around the world have been celebrating World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) since 2006 with the purpose of raising public awareness of the need for the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats. Each year, on the second weekend in May, people around the world take actions and organize public events such as bird festivals, education programs, exhibitions and bird-watching excursions to celebrate WMBD.

Since 2010, Mongolica travel in collaboration with Mongolian Ornithological Society (MOS) and other wildlife conservation organizations has been celebrating the event WMBD Mongolia. The event involves bird walks, talks, bird race, an exhibition of children's artworks, and movie watches. Participation is open to anyone who is interested in. The children's artworks will be exhibited in the exhibition hall of the Freshwater Resources and Nature Conservation Center in Ulaanbaatar.

Agenda will be sent on request. If you are interested in participating in the events, please call us to +976-98100148 and +976-88180148.
